Benedict Morris from Glasgow and Cormac Crummey from Belfast are a fresh fiddle and guitar duo that first ignited at the Fleadh in Sligo a relativel few years ago, and they havent looked back since. Their poise and musicianship has flourished over their time together and, casting aside all technical considerations, these two fearless pioneers are imagining a new skin on the tradition. Now considered to be two of the most exciting young musicians on the traditional music scene their music sparkles, glistens and energises all who come into contact with it sweeping with it a whole new generation of listeners and musicians alike into the 21st century.

For two years in succesion the duo appeared on the popular Fleadh TV during Fleadh endearing them to thousands of fans across the country (a highly sought after gig). Also, they performed to thousands in Glasgow Green with millions watching at home when they appeared with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra live on BBC TV Scotland at the last night of Proms in the Park 2019. Stephanie McWhinnie, Executive Producer of the event, hailed their performance as the stand-out moment of the show.

Hailed as, "magnificent, by Sharon Mair (BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2019), Benedict is one of the finest fiddle players in the country.

As a highly acclaimed accompanist in Ireland, Cormacs exquisite guitar playing and musicianship has earned him the opportunity to tour globally and is now the guitarist with 'At First Light'.
