Apologies to all. We regret that we have had to cancel the planned songwriting event. Our annual song competition in the spring continues as normal. We had hoped to create something different, yet complementary, at this time of year but need to wait until next year. This first winter song-writing showcase is a more interactive occasion than the annual song-writing competition in early summer. We invite writers to perform new songs on a theme of "Seasons", and we invite listeners (and the other writers) to provide feedback (on the night and afterwards) to the writers on how they can develop their songs to find their own niche in the folk music canon.
